Walking with Jesus

When we know Jesus, we can know Jesus as Healer, Provider, Comforter, OverComer, and Friend. We can expect our Father’s love and healing power to overcome the trails and troubles that try to overwhelm us. Walking closely with God gives you an advantage in every realm of your life. Yes, it takes spiritual effort to spend time in his presence, to resist temptation, to live a life that pleases God, and some people may think the scarifice of laying down our lives to receive more of his is too much. “When he called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me let him deny himself, and take up his cross and follow me. For whosoeverwill save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s the same shall save it (Mark 6:34-35). The rewards are so much greater than any sacrifice we have to make. Jesus has made the greatest sacrifice when he gave up his life so that we can live again. What are you will to give up to sacifice to serve Jesus?
